Byrl in Carmel Magazine
Building on a Legacy of Success
In 2004, voters elected Jerry Smith as Supervisor because of his commitment to creating jobs and economic growth. Byrl Smith will rebuild that legacy and get Monterey County working again and our local economy back on track.
Improving Education
As your next County Supervisor, I will continue to work with local districts to get the resources our children deserve for a quality education.
Creating Good Paying Jobs
The residents of Monterey County deserve good paying jobs that create opportunities for families and give our young people a reason to remain and have a future here.
Open Door Policy
I plan to have an open door policy as County Supervisor and make sure that access is not restricted to a privileged few. To show my commitment to staying connected, I plan to donate $25,000 dollars every year from my annual salary to local charities.
